NASCAR’s An American Salute Holds Special Meaning at Coca Cola 600

The Coca Cola 600 is this Sunday at 6 pm at Charlotte Motor Speedway, on the eve of Memorial Day. It’s an important stop on the summer circuit. But the race also marks the launching of NASCAR’s An American Salute, an ongoing remembrance and homage to America’s fallen veterans and military personnel.

As the country remembers and pays tribute to all those who have given their lives in defense of our nation, this special race will feature “600 Miles of Remembrance” doing the same. Car windshields will carry the names of fallen service members instead of their drivers. Some were chosen specifically by their teams, as some team members have personal ties to their respective fallen soldier.

NASCAR’s An American Salute collection features t-shits, hats, and a wide range of other apparel and merchandise designed as a way to honor and remember America and those who bravely defend her. Whether you’re a veteran yourself or just a proud American and NASCAR fan, this patriotic gear emblazoned with stars and stripes is a great way to show your gratitude to those who defend our country. The collection, as well as all the top fan gear, is available on NASCAR.com Superstore.
